พระพุทธนิรโรคันตรายชัยวัฒน์จตุรทิศ หรือ “พระพุทธรูปสี่มุมเมือง” พระพุทธนิรโรคันตรายชัยวัฒน์จตุรทิศ องค์จำลอง ขนาดหน้าตัก 5 นิ้วซึ่งมีอยู่ 4 องค์ ถูกจัดสร้างขึ้นตามความเชื่อและโบราณประเพณีของบ้านเมืองที่สืบทอดกันมาตั้งแต่ครั้งสมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยา ที่จะต้องมีสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ปกป้องขอบขัณฑสีมาทั้งสี่ทิศ โดยการสร้างพระพุทธนิรโรคันตรายชัยวัฒน์จตุรทิศนั้นเป็นการสร้างพระพุทธรูปแบบ “จตุรพุทธปราการ” กล่าวคือเป็นการนำเอาวัดหรือพระพุทธรูปเป็นปราการทั้งสี่ด้าน เพื่อปกป้องภยันตรายจากอริราชศัตรู ปัดเป่าสิ่งชั่วร้าย เสริมสร้างดวงชะตาแก่บ้านเมืองและคุ้มครองพสกนิกรทั้งมวลให้อยู่อย่างร่มเย็นเป็นสุข
Phra Phuttha Nirarokantrai Chaiwat Chaturathit or “Fortification of Buddha images in four sides.” It has a lap size of 5 inches, of which there are 4 images that were built according to the beliefs and ancient traditions. It has been inherited since the Ayutthaya period, which has sacred things to protect the edges of Khantasima in all four directions. Phra Phuttha Nirarokantrai Chaiwat Chaturathit is the creation of a Buddha image as “Chatura Phuttha Prakan” that is the use of a temple or Buddha image as a fortress on all four sides to protect the danger from the enemy, dispel evil, strengthen the fortunes of the country, and protect all the people to live in peace and happiness.
