It was combined the architecture between Thai Buddhism, Thai Muslim, and Thai Chinese. It is an old temple, which was built at the end of King Rama IV reign when TakBai was still Kelantan state. It was raised to be a religious place of national historical significance.
It is an archaeological site used by the government as a reference to demarcate the area in 2441 BE resulting in this city not being annexed to Malaysia. Therefore, this is the origin of the name “WatPhithakPhaen Din Thai”
