ด้วยระบบนิเวศทางธรรมชาติมีพื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่เป็นภูเขาชัน และสภาพผืนป่าอันรกทึบ ส่งผลให้อากาศภายในอำเภอสุคิรินแห่งนี้ ค่อนข้างเย็นสบาย จนถูกยกให้เป็น “สวิตเซอร์แลนด์เมืองไทย”
นอกเหนือจากแหล่งท่องเที่ยวบนเส้นทางธรรมชาติ ทางศิลปะ ยังคงไว้ซึ่งความงดงามทางด้านประเพณีวัฒนธรรมที่สานต่อมาจากความเชื่อของบรรพบุรุษ ส่งต่อสู่คนรุ่นปัจจุบัน จนเป็นประเพณีบุญบั้งไฟอันงดงามเพียงหนึ่งเดียวในภาคใต้ จัดขึ้นทุกปี ในวันเสาร์ที่ 2 ของเดือนมิถุนายน
Sukirin…The Switzerland of Thailand
Sukirin is one of 13 districts that are cute in size but full of perfection where are travelers looking for. There are natural ecosystems in which most of the area are steep hills, and dense forests affected by the air in Sukhirin are quite cool. That’s the reason why it’s called “Switzerland in Thailand”
In addition to tourist attractions on the natural route, the arts still maintain the beauty of cultural traditions that have been inherited from the ancestor’s beliefs to the present generation. It is the only beautiful Bun Bang Fai festival in the South which is organized every year on the 2nd Saturday of June.
