It built during the reign of Sultan Muhammad or Ton Kubisar who was the governor of Pattani. It was a wooden building. During the Tonkupute’s era, the mosque was relocated to build a new mosque and more buildings were expanded presently by adding a brick structure to make it more stronger and also decorated with wooden inside. In those days, this place was outstanding because the building mixed between Pattani Malay architecture and Western architecture.
